Worship Service
We worship at 9:30AM at our church address (2140 Minert Rd, Concord, CA 94518) or you can join us on ZOOM (please email welcome@yvpres.org to request the link or subscribe to our newsletter!).
Worship lasts give or take one hour. We mix in poetry, music (sometimes campfire style or beautiful piano accompaniments), art, as best we can.
Rev. Steve Hong (he/him/his) comes from the liberation theological tradition (which is just Gospel actually). You will be hearing sermons centered on the ochlos (the people) Jesus identified with. Not the rich. Not the privileged.

Hello YVPCers and Friends:
We are reading the book: "Who is the Holy Spirit? A Walk with the Apostles." Here is some info on the premise of this text:
"Christians talk about the Holy Spirit, but rarely know how to recognize the Spirit's presence and activity in the world. These meditations attempt to discern how the winds of the Spirit have blown in the lives of Jesus, his disciples, and the earliest Christians so that we can track and participate in the works of the Holy Spirit in the global village of the 21st century."
